People I hate…

There are a lot of people that I hate, but here are the top three.

Sean Penn has been praised by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, for his opposition to the war. Chavez has a huge hatred of America, which has been evidenced, on many occasions. My hatred of Penn started when he travelled to Iraq, and proclaimed Saddam Hussein a good guy. He is such a loser, but yet he has endeared himself to the liberal left.

Johnny Depp… He is another lost soul that I hate. He has given up his country for France. All the while making the statement "I will not live in a country that would go to war." He is just another example of liberals taking advantage of the freedoms provided by our brave soldiers in the armed forces.

Last, but not least, Danny Glover. This loser has protested the war, our troops and sided with Hugo Chavez. I will not EVER watch any movie with any of these "actors" (read treasons retards). I am unsure why there have NOT been any charges of treason brought against any of these morons. Each and every one of them should drop to their knees, and thank to whatever God they pray to, that I am NOT the attorney general, or all three of them would be in court right now.

I urge you to join me in boycotting everything they do.

Enterprise OS Thoughts

It has been a while since the WWDC keynote, and I have been mulling over this post. Let’s start with Yosemite. While Yosemite looks amazing, Apple is trying to get into the Enterprise space, and while the new OS is great-looking, enterprises want stability. Wouldn’t it make more sense to go back to the old model of creating a great OS, then when you come up with a new feature, bolt that onto the existing OS, That model worked for some time in both Windows and OS X. Then any new features were added through point upgrades or Service Packs in the Windows world.

In my opinion, enterprises would be well served using this method. It would give larger businesses time to roll out the OS, and would only have to roll out out updates that could be delivered via SUS or Remote Desktop. This is where both camps are ignoring enterprises and just racing to release another OS. in the last 4 years Apple has released Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, and now Yosemite. At the same time Microsoft released V…

Bang into the walls…

I have been doing some reflecting on Steve Jobs quotes I came across. Everyone has seen the quotes “Here’s to the crazy ones…” or “I want to put a dent in the universe”. While both are great quotes, I think my favorite is: “When you grow up you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life and try not to bash into the walls too much…that’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact—everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you…shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you’re just going to live in it versus make your mark upon it. Once you learn that, you will never be the same again.”

This is basically what life is about. If you are afraid to “bang into the walls” you are not embracing life. What would have happened if “the crazy ones” would have not challenged the status quo? We would not have seen the genius of Rembrandt, Einstein or Jim Henso…

Life is about creating yourself

This weeks quote is from George Bernard Shaw.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.

Beautiful and on target. There are too many people that are willing to let life happen to them, then complain that “Life is hard” instead of living life on your own terms. What do I mean by “living life on your own terms”. Many people hear this and think I mean you need to be a multimillionaire, jet setting all over the planet. (While this wouldn’t be a bad gig if you could get it) It means follow your bliss. Find that one thing that makes you happy and follow it. Personally, I like writing (as evidenced by the fact you are now reading it.) I know I am not a great writer, but I enjoy sharing my opinions with the world. If someone agrees with me that’s cool, but if they don’t that’s cool too. The point is in writing these blog posts I am making myself happy.

It doesn’t cost me a dime. But I am doing what makes me happy. When was the last time you did something just because…
